Authentication Solution Integrated into Chart Links Rehabilitation Software
Chart Links and PistolStar, Inc., a provider of password management solutions, today announced plans to integrate PistolStar’s Password Power 8 Web Set Password Plug-In with Chart Links’ Rehabilitation Software. The browser-based password authentication and security solution will help Chart Links’ physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology and audiology customers to better protect patient information by more strictly securing password authentication and management processes.
“Our first priority in automating password management for our customers is to ensure that they are able to meet or exceed facility and industry security initiatives,” says Ron Miller, M.D., President and Chief Medical Officer of Chart Links. “Next up, we want to simplify the user experience by allowing single password access to Windows(r), LDAP and Chart Links applications. Finally, we expect to dramatically reduce the volume of Help Desk calls regarding password resets.”
